This page explains what Elizabeth I collects, why, who else touches it, and what you can do about it. It's written to be read, not skimmed past; if anything here is unclear, email us and we'll fix the page, not just answer the question.

Who runs this

Elizabeth I is built and run by Envy (goenvy.io). For anything privacy-related: a question, a correction, a deletion request, email idan@goenvy.io.

PLACEHOLDER: that's Idan's own inbox today; a dedicated privacy@ address may replace it once one exists.

What we collect, and why

Your first name and work email: captured once, at the lead gate, right before we generate your files. We use it to send you the files, the link that lets you pick up where you left off, and, occasionally, notes on making AI behave. That last one has a one-click unsubscribe in every email, exactly as the consent line above the button says.

Whatever you point us at: a website URL, or documents you upload, we read that material to draft your eight answers. It's used to write your context, not anyone else's.

Your answers, and the files generated from them. That's the product itself, stored so your resume link keeps working after you close the tab.

Your IP address, briefly: used solely to stop abuse (rate-limiting how often the same visitor can hit ingestion/generation). It's auto-deleted after 7 days; see "How long we keep it" below.

Cookies: `eliz_sid`, our own session identifier, strictly functional. Plus HubSpot's analytics cookies (`hubspotutk`, `__hstc`, `__hssc`, `__hssrc`), set by the HubSpot tracking script we load on every page so we can see how the tool is used and connect your visit to the contact record you create at the lead gate. No advertising pixels.

Who else touches it

A short, named list; we don't sell or share your data beyond keeping the product running:

  • Anthropic (Claude API): Your site content and answers are sent to Claude to draft and generate your files. Anthropic does not use API content to train its models, per their commercial API terms.
  • Resend: Delivers the transactional emails Elizabeth I sends you directly: your files and your resume link. No marketing mail goes through Resend.
  • HubSpot: Holds your contact record (name, email, inferred company) as our CRM, runs the visitor-analytics script and contact form on this tool, and is what sends any occasional marketing notes; each one with its own one-click unsubscribe.
  • Hostinger: Your data is stored on Envy's own server in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany), on Hostinger infrastructure.

How long we keep it

Your session, your answers, and your generated files are kept so your resume link keeps working; there's no automatic expiry today. If you'd rather we deleted it, email idan@goenvy.io and we will, by hand.

The one exception: IP addresses recorded for abuse prevention are deleted automatically after 7 days; nobody has to ask.

Your rights

Access, correction, or deletion of anything we hold on you: email idan@goenvy.io and ask. Every marketing email carries its own one-click unsubscribe, no login or reply needed.

If you're a hosted-wiki client

Your wiki instance is private: only the people you've given access to can read it. A full export back to markdown is available any day, including the day you cancel; ask, and we'll get it to you the same day. Most agencies want to be indispensable. We still want to be done.
